The PCs for sale in the department stores are general purpose machines. They are perfectly OK for many purposes but they are master of none. You may be paying for functionality you don't need, or be compromised if you actually wanted the machine to do something specific such as gaming or video processing. Furthermore most machines on the market have insufficient memory for even heavy general purpose work and only come with one hard disk which is not the ideal solution as you should keep your data and the operating system separate. Most commercial machines also are full of useless software that you neither need or want and as such this fills up your disk, memory and processor and actually slows down your machine.

At Handcrafted PC we build a machine for your needs. We will ensure that the PC is designed for you with the features you need and the components that are most appropriate for you. All our PCs use ASUS or Gigabyte motherboards, the world leaders. We offer both Intel and AMD processors depending upon your preference. We also only install the essentials, the Operating System ( Windows or Unix ) and antivirus software ( Windows PCs only ). The rest is up to you.
